I really enjoyed this museum! I have wanted to visit for a while and was so excited to get the chance last week! The museum is packed to the gills with memorabilia. Its located in a very cool spot that ties into the history, It's somewhat organized, but could use some better labeling and if the authentic items could be showcased in a more prominent position that would be amazing.
The owner was really cool to hang out and talk with as he could give a lot of backstory and info about the real Bonnie and Clyde as well as the many other characters and people involved in their great story.
It's neat enough I guess if you are a fan but don't expect some nice museum. It's quite the old & musty smelling place. Lots of artifacts and articles to rummage through. In tired of it quite quickly but my wife enjoyed it.
Lot's of stuff from those days. Newspaper and police reports.
Types of weapons used by the outlaws and law enforcement.
Worth the visit.
Interesting information, lots of memorabilia. There is a lot of redundant info throughout the museum tho.
Def worth visiting if passing through or a diehard fan. They have just about everything to offer for a neat site.
Very pricey and more of a roadside attraction . They have a few interesting items, and everything else just feels like a bunch of items that have the names of Bonnie and Clyde and thrown in cases. It smelt like cigarettes inside and I’m not …
As museums go, this is not a first class experience. However, if you're in the area and you don't see this, you've missed an important thing. You'll need plenty of time to look at all the artifacts. Horrible historic events are plainly portrayed. Only closes on Christmas and Thanksgiving days. Ten bucks each.
This is a five star Museum in every way. Perry Carver the owner is a Grand Host . I go by and visit every year it always a fantastic visit with Perry.
Terry Story.
I was lucky enough to meet Boots, the son of Ted Hinton. He was running the museum at the time. Guy was super cool. We probably spoke for 3 hours. This has been probably 10 years ago
LOTS of stuff to see and read and a small gift shop. Museum was Cafe where Bonnie and Clyde ate their last meal. Ambush site is 7 miles up the road. There are 2 markers at the spot. If you go stay on Hwy 154 so make sure and turn right at the light about 2.5 from the museum. The marker is another 5 Mike's or so. It's worth a look!
